Hey, i will write in english, because my German are not so good. Are there someone out there who can help me with a problem. I have this problem with my 8550E, when i have recorded a program to my harddisk, and will copy to a DVD, the counter stop somewhere between 0-100%, and are completly dead. I presume, it could be some "bad sectors". There had to be a way to formate the harddisk "deep formate" and not only by pressing rec+stop. If you have a solution please write back in english.

Hi Tvdegn, this is a known problem of former firmware-versions. You should use FW 5.31 or higer (actually 5.42). Further informations: Hifi-Forum - Thomson DTH85xx-TreadIf you need advice to determine your FW-Version or to make this update, please anser me on this place. Greeting Damage |
